Brian Graff is a Certified Active Release Technique (ART) provider and in has treated athletes at the Iron Man world championships. His currently ART certified in Full Body. He works in the exam and treatment rooms performing ART on patients as well as assisting Dr. Adkins in the care and treatment of injured patients. Brian has lived in Alaska for over 20 years. Brian earned his Licensed Massage Therapist degree as Valedictorian of his class, is National Board Certified, and inducted into Alpha Beta Kappa national honor society. Brian joined the Adkins Chiropractic team in September 2011.
|Cia Thompson is a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) and joined our practice in April of 2012. Cia graduated from Helma Institute of Massage Therapy in Saddle Brood, New Jersey in 2008. Cia studied energy healing prior to becoming a massage therapist. Her sessions for both therapeutic and relaxation are tailored to meet each patient's specific needs by integrating different modalities. Cia moved to Anchorage four years ago from New York and has enjoyed working as a Massage Therapist. On her days off she enjoys hanging out with her family and four legged companions.|
Shelly Lindell is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Active Release Technique (ART) provider. Her education includes:
Shelly received her LMT certification from Colorado School of Healing Arts in 2002 and has been practicing ART since 2010. Shelly began her Massage practice in McMurdo Station, Antarctica. From the bottom of the continent, she went to the top and began working in Denali, AK, eventually arriving and staying in Anchorage. Shelly has had the honor to be mentored by amazing Chiropractors, PT’s and other LMT’s, one of the most influential being, Dr. Adkins. Given the education she has received, it is safe to say no two treatments are ever the same. They are tailored to each individual based on the information received from the patient and from the Dr. Shelly believes in partnering with patients in their personal journey toward wellness. She has also been fortunate to be able to partner with other health care professionals to provide the best possible care to her patients. “I always offer my services to other Professionals, in hopes that together, we can bring the client back to health and well-being.” In her free time, she loves the outdoors, “where I recharge my batteries.” Biking, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, camping, fishing and triathlon training. She especially loves being entertained by her four legged furry friends and her husband. Her commitment to activity helps her understand your need to be able to continue your daily work and active lifestyle. “It’s been my privilege and an honor to care for and partner with people in their journey of wellness, in mind, body and soul.”
Kati Hackenberger is our office manager and billing coordinator. She keeps things running smoothly throughout the day and is an integral part of the Adkins Chiropractic team. Kati is extremely helpful to our patients and is happy to answer any questions about your insurance or billing. She graduated from South Anchorage High School and continued her education at Evergreen State College in Washington, Metropolitan State College of Denver, UAA and Alaska Pacific University. She earned her Health Services Administration degree and joined the Adkins Chiropractic team in July 2011. She enjoys yoga, soccer as well as exploring the Alaskan outdoors with her two pups.
Kamuela Williams is a Chiropractic Assistant and patient advocate. She works closely with Dr. Adkins assisting him with patient care in the exam and treatment rooms. Kamu has been in Alaska her whole life and graduated from Eagle River High School. On her days off she enjoys spending time exercising, hiking and exploring Alaska with her husband and child.
|Shannon Edmiston is one of our Front Office Assistants. She has lived in Alaska her whole life and graduated from Chugiak High School in 2013. She is continuing her education at UAA. Shannon joined the Adkins Chiropractic Team in November of 2016. She enjoys going on adventures through Alaska and traveling with her family and friends.|
